Moving Tips:

2 men (smaller jobs)

Recommended for small size jobs; studio, just a few items

​

3 men (medium to large jobs)

Recommended for a 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.

​

4 men (large jobs)

Recommended for 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and house (basement, garage, etc.)

*Don't wait too long to book! 

There are people who request early, but try and book late. The end of the month is the busiest time for moving, and many people are scheduling, most likely already booked ahead of time. It's a time that's heavily congested for all moving companies, so you should try and book early or a day or two before the last day to avoid complications or overbooked companies on move day.

​

*Pack your own boxes

Having your stuff packed prior saves you time on move day. Especially if you are being charged per hour. It makes things run smoother. We do offer packing services either way.



*Wrapping of items

Wrapping of furniture, disassembly reassembly is included in our services at no additional fee. However, you can wrap items yourself ahead of time if you desire and have the moving go faster.

*Minimums

There's a 3-4 hour minimum for service depending on the distance of your move. The travel time is already included in that minimum. For small jobs, call for a flat price.

​

*Tipping

Tipping is customary, not mandatory. It's customary to tip individually and accordingly to your own judgement of the work provided by each crew member.



*Discounts

Unless otherwise noted, 10% discount applies to the 3 men rate and up. All new and repeat customers are entitled to the 10% discount.

Payments:

​

Payment is cash, CC, Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle, or Paypal once move is complete.

​

COI $50 (if applicable, due prior to move date)

If applicable, and building needs a COI, we'll need the COI sample requirements from the building forwarded to us at fairpricemovers@live.com 

​

Deposit $50 (due prior to move date)

Moving deposit is to secure your move for the desired date and will be deducted from your moving balance upon completion of your

​
